Well, folks, it is out in the open! Audrina Patridge (32) is, after all, divorcing her husband of ten months!
The former star of MTV’s reality show “Hills” filed for divorce from husband Corey Bohan (35) on Wednesday and has also managed to secure a restraining order from the honorable court accusing Bohan of possessiveness, anger, jealousy and even physical violence according to court documents.
“His aggressive behavior usually escalates whenever I am paying attention to work obligations, rather than to him,” reads the document. “When we are apart, he texts me obsessively, rattling my nerves and making it difficult for me to concentrate on my work commitments.”
Patridge’s representative told E! News on Thursday that “Audrina’s number one priority is her daughter and she asks for privacy at this time.”
The temporary restraining was reportedly filed on Monday while divorce from her BMX dirt-bike-rider-husband was filed for on Wednesday.
She further states in her petition that Bohan’s “harassing behavior has recently become so extreme that I physically separated from him a few weeks ago. I am fearful of [Bohan]’s temper because he cannot control his swearing and personal attacks on me, even when in the presence of our young daughter. Furthermore, as set forth below, his aggressiveness last month became so extreme he became physically violent.”
Patridge appears to be convinced about the risk to their daughter Kirra from Bohan. She fears that Bohan might abduct Kirra and take her away to Australia where his parents live.
“I am very concerned, especially since he has our daughter’s birth certificate, that he might obtain a passport for her and take her to Australia without my consent,” reads the court documents.
The allegations do not end here; she has even accused Bohan of setting up “five video cameras in their home to spy on her.”
The reality television star has also leveled charges against the BMX biker of violating the temporary restraining order, issued by the court on Monday, by refusing to leave their house the following day.
In July this year, Bohan had accused his wife of “partying and cheating on him and threatened to kill himself. I was very shaken by the texts, mostly because Kirra was with him,” she said in her statement.
In August he is supposed to have “ransacked” her stuff and even checked her Google search history.
One time when Patridge refused to reveal the name of the person who told her that he was cheating on her with another woman he became rather “aggressive” and locked the door pushing her back while she was holding their daughter.
“I begged him to please let me go and take Kirra somewhere else,” Patridge said. “I didn’t want her around all this. He then picked up my backpack and purse and threw everything on the floor. He started punching and hitting himself on the head. Then he punched a hole in our bedroom door. I was very frightened and started screaming and covered Kirra’s eyes and ears, but she started crying and screaming. [Bohan] then let me pass, and ran downstairs in front of me and grabbed a big metal canister, saying if I left right now, he was going to bash his head in with the canister right in front of us-or better yet he would do it in the street so everyone could hear that it was all my fault.”
Earlier this month, Bohan confronted her in the presence of Kirra and told her “how f—ked” she was from her childhood, and it must have been really bad because she was so “f—ked up.”
This was when the reality TV star started recording him on her phone but he allegedly snatched the phone from her and deleted the recording. She felt so threatened by his actions that she had to call in the cops. She chose to spend that night at her parents’ house.
Patridge’s lawyer Elizabeth Nigro told E! News that the restraining order was filed with the purpose of protecting mother and daughter – not with any malicious intent of hurting Bohan or gaining an edge.
“It wasn’t done to hurt Corey or to gain an advantage, it was done to protect their child and to protect Ms. Patridge and that’s it,” Nigro said.
The couple had been in an on-off relationship since 2008, tying the knot in November 2016 in Hawaii when Kirra was just 5 months old. They had been engaged for a year.
“My first reaction is the thought of the child, obviously. Me, coming from a separated family at a young age, it had its perks and it had its hindrances. My second thought is if she’s OK because she’s been a longtime friend,” Patridge’s former boyfriend Justin Bobby Brescia said in an exclusive chat with E! News.”My thoughts and my heart go out to her and her little one at this time.”
The next court hearing is scheduled for October.
