Ten-time Olympic medallist Ryan Lochte,33, with six gold, three silver, and three bronze swimming medals, tied the knot with his fiancée of 15 months Kayla Rae Reid, 26, in Gainesville, Florida, reports TMZ.

Two months after the engagement, the couple shared another piece of happy news with fans and followers when they announced the arrival of their first child, son Caiden Zane Lochte into their lives.

The champion swimmer wrote, “Caiden Zane Lochte. I’m a daddy #miracle #babyboy #myson,” with a picture text that read:

“Never seen a miracle happen before. Until this morning at 5:46 am when Caiden Zane Lochte was born. 7lbs 14oz, 22 inches. can’t stop crying from tears of joy. Dream come true!”

“They are so excited to be parents,” a source close to the couple told E! News at the time.

“They had close friends and family surround them after the baby was born. The baby is happy and healthy,” added the source.

“His fiancé is feeling well and resting now,” the source further said. “You can’t really tell who the baby looks like ’cause it’s so soon. Ryan is filled with happiness, but also overwhelmed at this time.”

Before Caiden came into the couple’s lives, Ryan was on “cloud nine,” gushing about how excited he was about spoiling his kid “rotten” with love and not “material things.”

“There’s one thing that I know will happen: I’m going to spoil this kid rotten, but not with material things,” he told AOL in 2016.

‘I’ll do it with so much love; that’s what I’m excited about. I’m excited to change diapers and all of that other father stuff I’ve dreamt about doing for years. I’m on cloud nine.’

Here’s a Thanksgiving photo of the family Ryan shared on Instagram.

“Our family’s first Thanksgiving!! #czl #turkey #gobblegobble,” wrote the Olympian.

The couple first met at a Los Angeles nightclub and everything just “clicked.” Ryan knew then that she was going to be the one!

“My family says, ‘Don’t you think it’s a little too soon?’ I’m like, ’Can you put a time on love? Can you?’ ” Lochte told USA TODAY Sports in October, a week before the engagement. “When I realized this was ‘the one’ was when she stuck behind me through this,’’ he said.

“From the very first time I met her, everything has like clicked,’’

Lochte told USA TODAY. “That’s why I know I can propose to her because everything that’s happened and she’s been keeping me so positive. She doesn’t care about my fame. She doesn’t care about anything. All she cares about is me being happy.”

There was a time when Ryan had seriously contemplated suicide.

Speaking to ESPN the Magazine last year for the fortnightly’s June 12 World Fame issue, Ryan had said:

“After Rio, I was probably the most hated person in the world. There were a couple of points where I was crying, thinking, ‘If I go to bed and never wake up, fine’,” the athlete said admitting that he had even considered taking his own life.”I was about to hang up my entire life.”

“You can be at the all-time high and then the next second the all-time low. I love being at the Olympics, but I’m the opposite of what you’d expect. It’s been that way my whole life. I don’t fit in,” he told the sports magazine, adding that every time he stepped into the pool everything just disappeared.

“Sometimes I wish I could stay underwater forever,” he said.

The story behind his talks of suicide was his false claim that he and his US teammates Jack Conger, James Feigen and Gunnar Bentz had been robbed at gunpoint at a gas station in Brazil when they were there for the Rio Olympics.

Surveillance footage later proved that Ryan, who had had one too many according to his own admission, had actually pulled down a framed advertisement to the ground at the gas station and was detained along with his teammates by armed officials until they paid for the damages.

His drunken indiscretion cost him a number of lucrative endorsement deals.

“You learn from your mistakes,” he said. “Am I going to be perfect? No.”

Kayla, who was pregnant with Caiden at the time, told the magazine that “people treated him like he murdered somebody.”

“Everything happens for a reason. Look, I was done with swimming back in 2013. I was drained, wiped out. Now I’ve found a new purpose with my son. This fire has been ignited, and it’s bigger than ever, and I’m just so excited because I know what’s going to happen in Tokyo,” he said. “Everyone is going to have to watch out!”
